"Together Again" is a song by American vocalist Janet Jackson from her 6th studio anthology, The Velvet Rope (1997). It was written and produced by Jackson and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, with boosted writing by Jackson's then-husband René Elizondo Jr. Information technology was released as the second single from the album in December 1997 by Virgin Records. Originally written as a ballad, the track was rearranged as an uptempo dance song.
